Traveler Information
Motorist Call Boxes

Assistance is always nearby
Motorist aid call boxes are located every mile along both directions of Florida's Turnpike (Mainline) for travelers in need of police, ambulance or roadway services. These are not voice communication devices; instead, electronic signals are transmitted to the Traffic Management Center located within Lake Worth Regional Command Center, which dispatches the necessary service vehicles.  Motorists also may dial *-F-H-P (*-3-4-7) or 9-1-1 on a cellular phone for assistance. If calling for assistance via cell phone, please be prepared to give an approximate mile marker and travel direction to the dispatcher. This is especially important in remote and rural areas.

Motorist Aid Call Boxes are located every mile along both directions of the Suncoast Parkway.  These are voice communication devices; which contact the Florida Highway Patrol, who dispatch the necessary service vehicle.
