Rental Car Customers Can Travel Through SunPass Lanes SunPass customers are able to enjoy the benefit and convenience of SunPass every time they travel through a toll facility. Friends and family visiting Florida can now share the same convenience when they rent a vehicle. |
Florida's Turnpike Enterprise has extended the SunPass convenience to many rental car customers traveling on Florida's toll roads and bridges. PlatePass® and Pass24, two license plate recognition systems, enable rental car customers to bypass traffic and congestion by using SunPass-only lanes. Rental car companies participating in this program include: Avis, Budget, Hertz, Dollar, Thrifty and Sunshine Rental. |

Florida is one of the most visited US destinations for both domestic and international travelers. Accordingly, it also has the largest rental car fleet in the nation! The expansion of the SunPass program to include rental car customers is another step to provide more efficient roadways and bridges for Florida's Turnpike customers, wherever their home may be. |
