Purchasing SunPass not only saves you money on every trip but helps Floridians with disabilities. Florida's Turnpike Enterprise and the Florida Department of Transportation recently signed a five-year contract with RESPECT of Florida to provide SunPass transponder packaging services. Established in 1974, RESPECT helps severely disabled citizens reach their potential through gainful employment.
Florida citizens with disabilities will be packaging approximately 40,000 SunPass transponders per month at the MacDonald Training Center Inc. in Tampa. Florida's Turnpike Enterprise is excited and proud to give program members the opportunity to earn an income and learn new skills, empowering them to become more independent and lead more fulfilling lives.
