Sound Barrier Walls

In addition to the road-widening work, an important component of the project is the construction of sound barrier walls. The walls consist of pre-cast concrete posts and panels. These will be fabricated off-site and then transported and installed along the expressway.  Sound wall installation between Coral Ridge Drive and the Turnpike is projected to begin as early as this fall.
