SAWGRASS EXPRESSWAY WIDENING – CORAL RIDGE DRIVE TO FLORIDA’S TURNPIKE

• One eastbound and one westbound lane closed. At least one lane in each direction will remain open.

• From Sunday, May 7, through Saturday, May 13.

• Eastbound lane closed between 7:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.; westbound lane closed between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m.

• Exit ramps to either northbound or southbound US 441 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, May 8, and Tuesday, May 9.  Motorists should use the Lyons Road interchange instead.

• Exit ramps to either northbound or southbound Lyons Road will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, and Thursday, May 11.  Motorists should use the Lyons Road interchange instead.

Additionally:

• Coral Springs Drive – One lane in each direction open from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

• University Drive – One of three lanes in each direction closed 24/7.

• US 441 (State Road 7) – Two northbound lanes and three southbound lanes open 24/7, except Monday and Tuesday, May 8 and May 9, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., when either all northbound or all southbound lanes will be closed beneath the Sawgrass Expressway. NORTHBOUND DETOUR:  Traffic on northbound 441 should turn east at Winston Park Boulevard, take Lyons Road north to Johnson Road and then turn west to US 441.  SOUTHBOUND DETOUR:  Traffic on southbound US 441 should take Johnson Road east to Lyons Road, head south to Winston Park Boulevard and then head west to US 441.

• Lyons Road – One of three southbound lanes closed 24/7, except Wednesday and Thursday nights, May 10 and May 11, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., when either all northbound or all southbound lanes will be closed beneath the Sawgrass Expressway. NORTHBOUND DETOUR:  Traffic on northbound Lyons Road should turn west at Winston Park Boulevard, take US 441 north to Johnson Road and then turn east to Lyons Road.  SOUTHBOUND DETOUR:  Traffic on southbound Lyons Road should take Johnson Road west to US 441, head south to Winston Park Boulevard and then head east to Lyons Road.
