 THE SAWGRASS EXPRESSWAY Click here for the Sawgrass Expressway Map Sawgrass Expressway Widening ProjectFlorida’s Turnpike Enterprise is undertaking a construction program to widen the Sawgrass Expressway (Toll 869) from Atlantic Boulevard north to the Turnpike interchange in Broward County from four to six lanes.The program consists of two construction projects—one extending from Atlantic Boulevard to Coral Ridge Drive and another extending from Coral Ridge Drive to Florida’s Turnpike.
